Navajo Churro (brown/gray) roving - 1 oz. increments

Only 42 left in stock

My brother-in-law has a flock of beautiful Navajo Churro sheep, guarded by a very elegant llama! After coming for a visit and meeting my Fellowsheep, Jon remembered how much he enjoyed raising sheep for FFA when he was in high school, so he was able to acquire a small flock of Navajo Churros from a friend! He has zero interest in working with the fiber, so I was able to barter for a couple of his fleeces! Navajo Churro reminds me a great deal of Icelandic - I use a similar technique for spinning it to prevent it from being too "ropey" - minimal twist will give you a soft, sturdy yarn for nearly any project!

Just $4 per ounce!

Please Note - Although this is not part of Shave 'em to Save 'em, I have decided to donate 100% of the sales of Navajo Churro to The Livestock Conservancy!

All rovings processed by Fibers First in Post Falls, Idaho!

Hand wash gently in cold water - lay flat to dry.
