Weaving Custom Orders

In 2021 I started a new crafting adventure - weaving! I'd been wanting to learn for several years, and thanks to an online friend through Zoom, I was able to get going on my Schacht 8-harness table loom! There is something about weaving that really speaks to me...if possible, even more than spinning and knitting! Knowing that at least one of my ancestors (one of my great-grandmothers on my mother's side) was a weaver is probably some of it, and the fact that I am in possession of the Southern Counterpane she made from scratch is so inspiring! She picked the cotton, spun the yarn, and wove the counterpane herself, sometime during the 1870s. So you might say that weaving is in my blood!
