Ruth is a gorgeous Finnsheep ewe who came to Blaine Fleece and Fiber with her half-sister, Janey!  She has become one of the biggest snugglers we have, enjoying chin rubs and forehead kisses!

Her dark charcoal brown Finnsheep fleece gives us gorgeous wool that will make soft, beautiful garments, and that will be a wonderful spinning experience for you!

Please remember that you are buying farm-fresh roving! My fleeces are processed by an amazing small-batch mill that spends a great deal of time skirting and picking the fleeces - however, it is impossible for them to remove all of the VM (vegetable matter). The roving is amazingly soft and clean, and the VM comes out easily. Thank you for understanding that what you are seeing is evidence of the good food our sheep enjoy!

Hand wash gently in cold water - lay flat to dry.
