Belladonna, Lobelia, and Elanor
These three cuties came to us from Feathered Horses Farm, north of us about 30 minutes. Belladonna and Lobelia are Black Welsh Mountain, and Elanor is a Clun Forest - both Welsh breeds that are on the Livestock Conservancy's Threatened list. Our hope in adding these two breeds to our flock is that it will continue to educate folks about the importance of preserving these livestock breeds...and, well, look at them! They're adorable! How could we resist? Lobelia was born April 25th, Elanor on May 1st, and Belladonna on May 17th, all in 2021, and they are all 110% cute! We are so grateful to have their goofiness in our flock - Bella and Lobelia enjoy climbing on our legs to remind us that they NEED cookies, and Elanor hums! If you've ever heard an alpaca hum, then you've heard Elanor! She does also baah on occasion, but the humming is more common. We are thrilled to have these beauties as part of the Fellowsheep!
