Enjoy the luxuriousness of a handfelted soap from Blaine Fleece and Fiber! There are so many benefits to using felted soaps - not only does the wool protect your soap and help it last longer, but once your soap has melted completely away, you can simply toss your remaining wool into your compost pile or even the garbage. Wool will easily compost over time, making it environmentally friendly!

These two beautiful ladies - Black Velvet and Panda Bear - were two of the Original Trio of sheep who got me started on this woolly journey, along with their brother, Mikey. Black Velvet, also knowns as Lady Elegant, was truly a kind, gentle girl. She loved being loved - enjoyed hugs and kisses, and also just loved being near me. Sometimes we sat in the barn together while she let me stroke her ears! Panda Bear, who I affectionately called the Dowager Countess, was a sassy one! She had the loudest BAAAAA of the flock, and made it very clear that she was for looking at and admiring, but NOT touching, thank you very much! I am so lucky to have the wonderful memories of these ladies who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and I hope you enjoy their wool and soap!
