Janey is a gorgeous Finnsheep ewe who came to Blaine Fleece and Fiber with her half-sister, Ruth!  Although Janey does NOT want to be petted, she does appreciate our daily offerings of animal crackers! She has such a funny personality - we just love her so much!

Her dark charcoal Finnsheep fleece gives us gorgeous wool that will make soft, beautiful garments, and that will be a wonderful spinning experience for you!

Please remember that you are buying farm-fresh roving! My fleeces are processed by an amazing small-batch mill that spends a great deal of time skirting and picking the fleeces - however, it is impossible for them to remove all of the VM (vegetable matter). The roving is amazingly soft and clean, and the VM comes out easily. Thank you for understanding that what you are seeing is evidence of the good food our sheep enjoy!

Hand wash gently in cold water - lay flat to dry.
